Born Again - Part 2

Father we thank you so much for the wonderful community that we have here and father we want to join the community in heaven very soon, but we need to be born again and Many of us including me.

I don't think we're converted deep enough and We want to be sanctified more deeply Lord So I pray father that you talk to us this morning.

Please tug my heart, tug our hearts here as we open the Bible and look at the inspired statements in the Bible and Spirit of Prophecy, what kind of experience we have to have before Jesus comes?

Father, I pray for your Holy Spirit to touch our hearts.

Everyone here, speak to us what sins are still there that we need to separate from.

Give us the strength to hate those sins, not to love them anymore.

So We started this whole series last night.

He was probably the top theologian of the Adventist, I mean Jewish church.

Top theologian, 1 of the 70 in the Sanhedrin.

And he had no clue what it means to be born again.

The Bible says that Laodicea thinks they're rich, but they're blind, poor, and naked, and wretched.

So it has the same cognitive dissonance like Nicodemus.

Nicodemus came to Jesus to to tell Jesus what to do.

It's like we should cleanse the temple, you know, we should do this and this.

I know you're with God so join with me and we're gonna do a reformation." Jesus was like, no man, you need to be born again.

You need a deeper experience with the Holy Spirit changing you.

And Nicodemus was completely, he couldn't understand a word.

And Jesus tells me, are you a teacher in Israel and you do not know these things?

And I want to submit to you that many teachers in Israel today, they know a lot of good things, But they might not have a true experience.

Because Laodicea says that this is what we are.

We are at the place and age where Ellen White says the new birth is what kind of experience?

A rare experience in this age of the world.

This is the reason why there are so many perplexities in churches.

Do you guys believe that we have perplexities in the church today?

She also says We need to be enlightened in regard to the plan of salvation.

1 in hundred who understands for himself the Bible truth on the subject of being truly born again.

Now I'm just a little recapping what we did last night so that we can cut up with the topic for today.

Ellen White also says the people are more ignorant in regard to the plan of Salvation and need more instruction upon this all-important subject than upon any other.

Forget about Ezra and Nehemiah, which is good.

But this subject of being filled with the Holy Spirit, people are just ignorant about it.

She says, many in the church are mere human moralists.

The work of the Holy Spirit for them is a strange work.

Human moralist, do you know what that means?

I know this is a moral, ethical thing to do.

A lot of behaviorism in the church We're trained to be educated behavior well moral human moralist, but that's a that's human effort the work of the Holy Spirit is for them a Strange work And when you start talking about it, like, what are you talking about?

It's like, what are you talking about, Jesus?

It's like, coming in the birth of my mother and get born again.

A lot of people, and so Ellen White says, this is the biggest problem.

And the reason is not because people are bad in this church or allowed to see them.

And so I'm just recapping a little bit from last night.

It says, the danger has been presented to me again and again.

So several times Ellen White so envisioned what the problem will be with the church.

False, totally false ideas of what means justification by faith.

I've seen, Ellen White says, again and again, the Lord has been giving me visions that the church as a people will completely have a false idea of what justification by faith is.

I have been shown for years that Satan would work in what kind of manner?

Special manner to confuse the mind on this point.

Ministers need to be educated to dwell more particularly upon subjects which explain true conversion.

So, I can talk about a lot of good stuff, but do you think we should talk about this?

Another 1, I wish you to distinctly understand this point that souls are kept from obeying the truth by what?

Confusion of ideas, how you are saved, how you are justified.
