The Four C’s for Total Fulfillment

Father in heaven, Lord, thank you so much for your tender love, your mercy, your grace, your justice.

Thank you for everything that You will bestow upon us, Father, to bring us to a place to where we absolutely sell out for You.

Lord, I ask that You would be with each 1 of us as we launch into this message, and I pray that you would please, Father, speak to me so you can speak through me.

Lord, I pray you would hide this faulty instrument behind your cross.

You've promised that if we lift up Jesus, that you will draw all men unto Him.

So Father, we ask that you would please let it be tonight.

You've said, now therefore go and I will be with thy mouth and teach thee what thou shalt say.

Turn with me in your Bibles to Revelation 12.

If you didn't bring your sword, you're not gonna win the fight.

Now, in the context of this text, when we read it, let's break it down real quick.

And this is gonna be our proof text for this message.

And my goal is to bring out of this text, perhaps something that you haven't considered or heard before.

And I would suggest that we would turn these speakers straight out and not inward.

Verse 11, and they, who's that referring to in context here?

And they, let's get back to the word of God, sorry for that little distraction.

So the church overcame him, Satan, by the blood of the lamb.

I lost the hearing in my right ear, so you gotta speak up twice as loud.

So it says, well, it didn't solve our feedback problem.

So it said, and they, the church, overcame him, That means the devil, by the blood of the Lamb, or Jesus, and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives unto the death.

Sounds like quite a group that they are absolutely with Jesus, so much so that they love not even their lives unto the death.

Kill me, that's fine, because I'm going to stand for my Jesus, though the heavens may fall, right?

So this text is actually packed with information for us.

In fact, the entire Christian experience is in this 1 text.

John 15 and verse 4, and I just got this new Bible, and it's just not broken in yet.

In fact, it's not even got 1 underline in it yet.

And you know when you have a Bible for a while it's like your old friend you just know it's a right BAM right there and you can flip right to him this one's all big and clunky and thick to me and so we're starting our relationship together here.

So when we read these scriptures coming up, I'm going to interject some different words that mean the same thing as abide, and hopefully the scripture will come alive.

Abide in me and I in you, as the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it obey in the vine.

No more can you hold to me, except you abide in me.

No more can you hold to me, except for you stick to Me.

And he that keeps to Me, or abideth in Me, and I in him, the same shall bringeth forth a little piddly lame fruit.

What it's saying here is, if we abide, if we, another word for that would be remain, if we stay, if we stick to the Lord, we will bear much fruit.

If a man, for without me, you can do pretty much anything you put your mind to.

So the key in the Christian experience according to the Scripture is that we need to abide.

We need to stick to Jesus or we can accomplish nothing.

That's pretty straightforward, wouldn't you say?

You see, this message is entitled, The 4 C's of Christianity, or the 4 C's that lead to ultimate fulfillment as a Christian, I might add.
