Last Wednesday, we examined what it means to live in a time when the Day of Atonement is unfolding and a time is, in that time, is drawing close to a close in the heavenly sanctuary.

So how, we asked the question earlier, how did Israel act on the Day of Atonement?

Full of reflection, searching our hearts, looking to Jesus, and thus we asked, how should we act?

We concluded for those that are awaiting for the second coming of Christ, we are to begin to live holy lives.

This should be evident in every aspect of our lives, from our diet to our dress.

This can only be done as we walk in the sanctuary with Jesus.

We are going to live our lives to meet him, and we've talked about this in the sanctuary.

I need to re-situate or I'm gonna hurt myself up here.

We talked, we've talked about the sanctuary.

When we come into the sanctuary, we give our lives.

We come to before and we read our Bibles, the table of showbread, we turn and we pray, and then we are filled with the Holy Spirit.

And 1 of the important things in the walk is when we mess up, when we make mistakes, and we go out and give our lives, accept Christ's blood in our lives again, we are still inside the walls that represent Christ's righteousness for us.

Our lives are to be holy only in Jesus, but they become holier as we walk with Jesus.

If we try to live wholly in our own power, it becomes pharisaical and will only be done in vain.

I love the good news that the greatest love story, the greatest love story that could ever be told is God's love for you.

God has made available to all of you all of the resources of heaven.

Not only to forgive you, but also to transform your life.

This knowledge Has to be shared with the world.

And that's what we're gonna see this morning, is that in the sanctuary, God has actually provided a model for how to get the gospel into the world.

Before we get started with number 1, would you pray with me once more?

Dear Heavenly Father, Lord, I wanna thank you for this model of the sanctuary.

I wanna thank you for your Sabbath, and most importantly, Father, we wanna thank you for your love, your son Jesus, and the gift he has given us.

Father, give us strength as we study your word this morning that we learn about this model of getting the gospel to the world.

Number 1, what did Jesus say must happen before the end shall come?

Matthew 24, 14, and this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in, how much of the world?

You know, this text is telling me that God is waiting.

He's waiting for His church to share the good news that God has found an answer to the world's sin problem, amen?

And I think Jesus has a two-fold — I don't want to use the word issue because Jesus doesn't have an issue, but two-fold need here.

First he needs people to give their lives to him, to give their hearts to him in such a way they will go into all the world.

Too many people are waiting for someone else to do it.

I've heard people say, well that's why I give money, because I don't want to do it.

I just give some money and someone else needs to do it for me.

And the second issue is letting everyone know, then going into the world, right?

And now to me, God can work miracles and make things happen overnight.

If he can find an evangelist in a cave, friends, he can tell the whole world in no time.

If God had an army of people that had fully given their hearts to Him.

Do you think it's going to take long to tell the whole world about His coming?

Many people will say, I don't know how to witness.

How many people have ever had a problem with their car?

I was hoping everyone would raise their hands.

If you've had a problem with your car and you find a good mechanic, are you proud of that good mechanic?

Barris, if you had a good mechanic, and I came up to you and said, Barris, something's wrong with my car, and I don't know what to do.

What's the first thing that Barris is gonna tell me back?

We have a problem in our lives, and when we give our sins to Jesus, we should be ecstatic.

When someone is having an issue in their lives, and they come to us and say, something is going on in my life, And you say, I have someone for you to meet.

It doesn't take a degree in theology to be able to do that, friends.

It takes knowing, having a relationship with Jesus.

All of you, or at least most of you I know in this room, have been baptized.

You've taken a stand for Jesus in some way.

Jesus has done something to you or in you.

See, are we beggars telling other beggars where to get bread?

In other words, are we forgiven sinners who are hiding how to be forgiven, or are we forgiven sharing how to be forgiven?

I Got a little too worked up on number 1, hopefully the rest aren't that way.

What were the last words that Jesus spoke as He ascended into heaven?

But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you and you shall be a witness.

I believe this is the key that really makes our witness effective.
