Evangelism in the Age of AI

It is so exciting to be here this weekend for this convocation.

It's always exciting to be able to present the Word of God.

I should let you know before I get started a little bit about me.

I travel, really the world, excuse me, the world, sharing the love of God in the health message.

Amen but also I do work at Hope Channel and I have a role there as senior producer and head of development for Hope Studios, which is the cinematic arm of Hope Channel.

Now, I need to let you know that I've not always been a seven-day Adventist.

I like to consider myself an 11th hour worker.

I'll just kind of share that with you just a little bit because it's early in the morning, got to warm up the pipes and warm you all up.

I came into the church with net 96, the preaching of Mark Finley.

And it was, now I didn't come in the best time though.

I came in to those meetings, the last 2 meetings.

Now Anyone will tell you that that's not the best time to show up at an evangelistic series.

It's dragons and beasts and serpents and all of this, right?

And I come in, I'm green, I don't know much, And I'm so thankful I understood everything.

But nonetheless, it was the last 2 meetings.

America in prophecy and the mark of the beast.

But nonetheless, when the pastor said, are there any questions here today?

I Said how do you get baptized in this movement?

And I was baptized in 1996 and then off back to Los Angeles I went I'm sparing you a lot of details because I want to just give you an emphasis how I'm rooted and grounded, unshakable in this message.

I go back to Los Angeles and I had to find a church and I found this little conservative church there in LA proper called Berean.

Yeah, so I go there and my first day there, my first Sabbath, and the pastor was preaching a powerful sermon and he said Ellen White said Now you must remember that I said I only caught 2 meetings so I never caught the gift of prophecy So when he said Ellen White said I was a little confused and then he said it again he said Ellen White said and the spirit of prophecy out of print now I took that book home I read every page.

I came back and I have been a member of this wonderful movement ever since.

So that's kind of how this whole thing got started.

And then before you knew it, God was taking me everywhere.

Started a ministry called Beehive, as you heard.

I have a little lifestyle center retreat out in Maryland, right in my home, because I believe after reading that book that every member of the church ought to be medical missionaries and that every home should be a little home sanitarium.

So now what do we do with this changing world?

I got to tell you when I joined this church I had no idea that something called AI would be coming our way.

Something so deceptive in its presentation.

Something that is so amazing in the technology that it's hard to even understand it.

But the Bible said That men and women would run to and fro and that knowledge would increase and we see that technology is growing and Advancing by leaps and bounds every single month it seems Can you keep up So we have to ask ourselves the question, in this age of AI, how do we continue to allow the gospel to shine through the digital fog?

This morning, I want to consider that with you as we look at Jesus and what he offers us in the power of the gospel for us to go forward and To finish the work.

Father in heaven, I want to thank you so much for the opportunity to come and to share and to lift up the name of Jesus.

And I just pray now this morning, Lord, that you would give us your Holy Spirit.

Because it's not what a man can do nor woman.

The Bible says not by might nor by power but by my spirit sayeth the Lord of hosts.

So I want to claim the promise with my brothers and sisters here this morning that if we being evil know how to give good gifts to our children.

How much more shall our Heavenly Father give the gift of the Holy Spirit to them that ask?

In this age, it's difficult to know what's real and what's fake, isn't it?

Anybody ever receive something and you knew it was real?

You knew it was authentic and you shared it on social media.

It's kind of embarrassing once you send it out, and then someone sends you something back to you and says, I hate to break it to you but you know that's AI I mean you see all manner of things here's a little bear story look at this I got a few videos here can you see that is that real look at that, a loving bear.

So that's brought to us by AI now Imagine you will 1 morning you wake up you get on your phone and you start scrolling and your favorite conference pastor is preaching and you start to listen to what that pastor is saying and then you realize he's saying things that are not biblical.

He starts to say things that are not found in the scriptures.

All men of heresy is being spoken by this favorite pastor of yours.

Or, you start scrolling a little further.

And you see None other than what appears to be the likeness, as people sometimes think it is, of Jesus.

We got 5 loaves, 2 fish, and like 5, 000 RSVPs.

So not only did everybody eat, but somehow we have more now.

So we're living in a time when seeing isn't necessarily believing.

We look at things and we've never anticipated that we would live in an age when we would deal with synthetic images.

You may see a missionary who's out somewhere in this remote place and miracles are happening and none of them are real.

But it's used to convince you that revival is taking place.

And then after that, along with what you have seen, here comes some false doctrine.
