Where are They?

And the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and man became a living soul.

Verse 21 and verse 22, and the Lord God caused the deep sleep to fall upon Adam and he slept and he took 1 of his ribs and closed up the flesh thereof and the rib which the Lord God had taken from man made he a woman and brought her unto the man.

God made another human being as an adult.

The first 2 persons to set foot on this earth were adults made by God.

In other words they were not born from the womb of anyone.

I say again for the third or fourth time, they were not born, they were made.

Every other human being who comes into this world is born as a baby, including who?

Whether they're parents or relatives or friends, they are dependent upon adults for everything.

It is said the most helpless baby is a human baby.

Most other animal babies have some form of defense.

You pick up a little snake, you are in trouble.

You pick up a little crab, he may bite your fingernail off.

Totally dependent on the adults, whether parents or surrogates, whatever the case may be.

They are charged by God with the responsibility of raising that child to adulthood.

So we have father Adam, we have mother Eve, brother Cain, brother Abel and all the other children Adam had according to Genesis chapter 5 verse 5.

Go to 1st Timothy chapter 5, we'll read from verse 1.

1st Timothy chapter 5, we'll read from verse 1.

Rebuke not an elder but entreat him as a father and the younger men as the elder women as and the younger as sisters with all purity.

Now we have father, mother, brother, sister in the church.

When you hear father, mother, brother, sister, give me 1 word that covers that.

So we have Adam, Eve, Cain, Abel, and the daughters, whoever they were, Family now we just read in first Timothy 5 1 & 2 we have father mother brother Sister what word covers that family?

The church finish my words is a family Let us go to a Genesis 4.

And Adam knew Eve his wife and she conceived and bare Cain and said I have gotten a man from the Lord and she again bare his brother Abel And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.

And in process of time it came to pass that Cain brought of the fruit of the ground an offering unto the Lord.

And Abel he also brought of the firstlings of his flock and of the fat thereof.

And the Lord had respect unto Abel and to his offering, but unto Cain and to his offering he had not respect.

And Cain was very wroth and his countenance fell.

And the Lord said unto Cain, why art thou rough?

If thou doest well, shalt thou not be accepted?

And if thou doest not well, sin lieth at the door.

And unto thee shall be his desire, and thou shalt rule over him." Now, let's look closely at A.

And it came to pass while they were in the field that Cain rose up against Abel his and slew him.

Now we will come across the word brother, brother, brother from verse 1 to verse about 11 about 7 times.

Question for you, did God know where Abel was?

You have some degree of responsibility for whom?

Bear ye 1 another's burdens and so fulfill the law of Christ.

Of course verse 5 says every man shall bear his own burden.

So we have a blend between I have responsibilities I need to carry out but my brothers and sisters in the church have a responsibility toward me.

God said to Cain, where is Abel thy brother?

Because on Sabbath we will have a baptism.

And some people will be born of the Spirit.

Maybe you're shaking about what this responsibility puts on you.

There was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus.

The same came to Jesus by night and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God, for no man can do these miracles that thou doest except God be with him.

Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto you, except a man what?
