Dear Heavenly Father, we thank you for, I'm trusting everyone got a good lunch.

I know I enjoyed mine, enjoyed the company as well, and just the blessing of being with like-minded believers.

And we just pray that you will continue to use this time to grow in our understanding and knowledge of who you are, your plans and purposes for our lives, that you will make your direction clear, and that we will be inspired to study more deeply the things of God.

And we just pray that your Holy Spirit will guide us in this next piece of this seminar.

I pray that your Holy Spirit will speak through me, that it will be your words and not my own, and that you'll even tailor the message for each 1 here, whether they're here in person or listening.

I know where it was and I know exactly when it was and I know the name of the pastor that said it.

And he said it publicly, so I suppose I could put it out here publicly again, but that's not really my intent.

And in the middle of his talk, he says, I've done something naughty.

They can be a little daunting, especially if there's like lots of sky or whatever.

He says, I'm not taking just 1 or 2, but 3000 piece puzzles.

See, AI is supposed to make that puzzle that looks more like Chex Mix or something.

Says I put them in a bowl and I've mixed them all up, all together in this mixing bowl, and continues on.

Now imagine for me the piece I now hold in my hand.

So this is a 3, 000 piece puzzle according to his analogy and he's holding up 1 piece.

That's gonna be a tiny piece unless it's enormous puzzle.

He's like, now imagine for me this piece I now hold in my hand is part of the image we want to create.

It has a special gift, yes, that it must give the image of Jesus.

So in his illustration, the puzzle, if you will, is a picture of Jesus.

There's still 2, 999 pieces in his bowl, according to this illustration.

And of course, this is kind of the idea, an image of Jesus.

I tried making the puzzle pieces in AI actually be 3, 000 pieces.

They're so tiny, you can't even tell they're puzzle pieces.

So, you just have to use your imagination.

He says, you see, God has never given the totality of His image, His likeness, His character, that idea, to just 1 gender or just 1 skin color or just 1 ethnicity or to just 1 historical time period or just 1 group of people or to just 1 movement or to just 1 church.

He says, for he knew that if 1 group decided that they represented the totality of the image of God, it would be easy to become arrogant and to assume that we have it all.

So the question I want to ask, is it wrong to say that the Seventh-day Adventist Church is the remnant church of Bible prophecy?

Or is my Adventist pastor friend correct when he says, there's not any 1 church, we are just simply a piece of 3, 000, therefore we need to find 2, 999 other churches, other denominations, other groups, other faith communities, to get their peace and their peace and their peace and their peace and their peace and the totality of all of those pieces Will only then give us a clear picture of God.

I Don't know if you're comfortable with that I'm very uncomfortable with that This idea that we have to go to every other Christian denomination.

Glad you're here To get a true picture of who God is just doesn't make sense to me.

To me the true picture of who God is is found right here in his word and I don't need everybody else's interpretation to get it right.

But we're asking that question, is that arrogant?

And if you missed that, you can go back later when they get these loaded online.

But this third 1 is what makes you so special.

And then after this we're going to look at what makes the devil angry.

And then what's wrong with being a cultural Adventist.

We'll get into the spirit prophecy piece more significantly on number 4.

And then number 5 is, Is it okay to just pick and choose?

Is Adventism a big buffet and I just go through line, I put whatever I want on my plate and scoot around the things that I don't want?

Is it wrong to say the Seventh-day Adventist Church is the remnant church of Bible prophecy.

Is that us trying to say we're better than everybody else?

That we like our religion, but everybody else's stinks?

I don't think that's what we're trying to say at all.

To claim that we are the remnant church of Bible prophecy according to another pastor friend.

It's arrogant, it limits God, it's dysfunctional, and some even go as far as to say it's abusive.

And I would say they are uninformed of what we're talking about when we say the remnant church of Bible prophecy.

It's not just an opinion that I have or that you have or that somebody else has, but it's really the study of Scripture that reveals the remnant church of Bible prophecy.

It's not that we are self-proclaiming to be that, it's that we're the only 1 that fits that.

Revelation 12, 17 says, And the dragon was wroth with the woman, God's true church, and went to make war with the remnant, there's the word, of her seed.

Now the word remnant, here we have some wallpaper.

In fact, we're redoing our house and my wife has an idea of wanting to use wallpaper in our entryway.

He's got lots of experience bringing up wallpaper.

But, often times you end up with leftovers.

And so if something happens, a skateboard slips, goes through the wall, no problem, we have a remnant.

And that would simply mean we have some of this same cloth, we pull it out from wherever it is, hopefully it still matches and the other hasn't been stained by the sun or faded or whatever, and you put in a fresh piece after you patch the wall and everything's going to be okay.

Because the reality is, this wallpaper, if that's what my wife chooses, you'll probably not be able to find it in even just a few years, right?

But if you have a remnant, it's going to be okay.

Fellas, have you ever bought a suit and inside 1 of the pockets you find a little piece of cloth that matches your suit?

And you think, what am I supposed to do with this?

You just hang on to it and it's for you to touch while you listen to the sermon and think, oh, I have a remnant right here in my pocket.

If something happens to your suit, you have a way to patch it.

And we are in a throwaway society anymore.

I don't even know if they put that patch in suits much anymore, sometimes they might still, but you could go to somebody back in the day and they could fix, and it wouldn't be perfect, but it would be better.

Or even these African violets, If you've ever pinched off 1 of these, you can put it in water, and over time it will put down roots, and so you can have your great-great-great-grandmother's African violets if you have a green thumb.

And we can say, this very plant is a remnant of my great-great-grandma Gladys, or whatever, Because it truly is the same plant that's just been passed down.

So the dragon was wroth with the woman and went to make war with the remnant of her seed which keep the commandments of God and have the testimony of Jesus." So this woman is pregnant with Christ, gives birth to Christ, of course they try and take Christ out and so on, but they're now talking about the remnant of that and it's saying they have 2 characteristics.

And I would say that's all 10, not just 9 out of 10 or 8 out of 10.

No, It needs to be all 10 out of 10 and have the testimony of Christ.

God's last day people will keep the commandments of God and have, if we go to Revelation 19.10, it says the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
