The Bible says, it is good to give thanks to the Lord, for he is holy.

And I praise the Lord for his word that reminds us that we are not Jesus.

You know 1 time I spoke at a graduation I told them 2 things at this graduation I said don't forget these 2 things for the rest of your life.

I said number 1 there is a God and number 2 you are not him.

It's time for us to come to Jesus just as we are to ask for the blessings of the Holy Spirit.

Father, we just thank you so much for the beautiful Sabbath that we, your people, can abide in you.

Thank you so much for blessing us with truth and light.

And God, we want others to share in that same experience.

Jesus, our heart's desire is right now that you would be with our friends our families that are all over the world and God we just also lift up our president and our leaders right now who are in a time of decision-making God we pray and ask that the Spirit of God would be by their side to give them wisdom in these crucial moments.

Thank you, Jesus, that this is good and acceptable, as you said, when we pray for our leaders.

Father in heaven, we pray as we open up the word, may the Spirit of God fall afresh on us.

And we also ask 1 more thing God, and that is you would search our hearts.

And God, that the Word of God would reveal the intents of the heart.

And Lord, we ask that we may be emptied so that heaven can fill us.

Alright, well a couple things you guys might be aware of.

But, next Sabbath is going to be a very special Sabbath.

Do you know what International Sabbath is?

It's a Sabbath that's about different cultures, right?

And so what we're going to be doing next Sabbath is we're going to have a very special church service.

It's going to be a time for you to come to church in some traditional garb of the country of your choice, but we're also going to have an international potluck as well.

And so this all stemmed because I volunteered to do all church potluck this week.

And I thought to myself, how can we make this special?

And I said, we'll do international Sabbath.

So we want you to dress up in traditional garb as long as it's modest.

And so we want to make sure you dress up in your traditional garb if you're from India or you're not from India and you have a sari we want you to wear it.

If you have an Indian clothing, Indian clothing, we want you to wear that.

We have some people volunteering to make Thai food.

We have some people who are going to wear Indian clothing.

Maybe I want to wear something from Japan.

But we want you to dress up in the traditional garb of a particular company.

So next Sabbath I expect to see a lot of colors here, right?

And this is going to be a wonderful time for us to be able to appreciate the sacred cultures God has given to humanity.

And it's going to be a time for us just to share in a, you can say, a taste of what heaven is going to be all about.

Every nation, every tribe, every tongue, every people.

Well, the second thing I also want to let you guys know, next Sabbath is also very special because we're going to be having our trial.

It's going to be a time where we're going to have the Honorable Scott Wendt preside over the trial.

Seventh-day Adventists are going to be put on the stand for their faith.

We have 3 prosecutors who will interrogate the witnesses, Pastor Anil Kanda, Pastor Ted, and a surprise elder.

And this is going to be a time, what we're going to do is, I'm going to share a message, and we're going to set up a table Scott went is going to be the judge the prosecutors are going to stand on the left and this is going to be a time for people when they're called upon to come up to the front and see if they can answer these questions however I also want to remind you I may be easy on you in the beginning, but not towards the end.

We want to make sure you know what you believe in.

So, make sure you come armed with your Bibles next week.

All right, ladies and gentlemen, the name of the sermon is called Code Breaker.

And he actually teaches math in down, I think it's in Delano.

And he was somebody who got his master's in mathematics in Iowa State University and he was studying a kind of math that had to do with computer science.

And so him and other students were finishing up this graduate degree when a special group from the government known as the NSA Approached them now the reason why they approached them is because they were recruiting for the NSA.

They were looking for people who could crack codes.

And that branch of mathematics that had to do with computer science, they were trying to recruit from that category.

And the reason why he refused this offer was because there came a stipulation and that stipulation was you are not allowed to talk about what takes place at work even to your wife.

So even if your wife works there and you work there, you are not allowed to discuss what takes place at the NSA.

And so my friend decided not to take up this offer because of what was involved with it.

You know, when it comes to our society right now, there's a lot that's coming out about surveillance.

You read the newspaper every single day, and you find out so much is being revealed about the way our government carries out secret operations.

Now, I'm not here to give you my opinion about those things, but all I'm here to say is that when you read the Bible a Lot of people who pick up the scriptures actually read them in a superficial way and miss what's actually there Do you know Jesus actually spoke in very obvious language, but within the obvious language was code He was communicating something else So a lot of people pick up the Bible read it superficially And they look at it and they just think to themselves, well, this is what it says.

But they missed the actual point that Jesus was trying to make.

1 of the things that he gave was something called parables.

Number 1, to reveal truth, and number 2, to conceal truth.

Reveal truth to those who were searching and conceal truth from those who were seeking to accuse him of wrong.

These parables that he gave, he gave 7 of them in Matthew chapter 13 and he began each parable by saying the kingdom of heaven is like this The kingdom of heaven is like this.

The kingdom of heaven is like this and what he would give were just basic Situations that You and I have each and every day 1 instance Jesus says the kingdom of heaven is like a seed that was planted in the ground But when this seed grew it became the biggest of all these plants So that the birds of the air came and rested in them now, how could you?

Accuse somebody who gave a story like that?

Another story, Jesus talked about a man who was planting seeds.

And as he was planting seeds, All of a sudden there were different responses that came to the seed that he was planting.
