With a huge library of over 6000 presentations already and more being added every day, we knew that the search capability of the new site was more important than ever. That is why we have made it a top priority to make it easier for you to find what you are looking for. The search bar is central to the new AudioVerse, and here are just two reasons why:

• Improved Intelligence. We’ve massively improved the intelligence of our search engine so now it can identify the content within each message, rather than simply the titles, speakers, or sponsor information. The best part is that it should only continue to improve as time goes on.
• Powerful Filters. Within the search bar, you’ll see the ability to filter within various categories of content on our site, but that’s just the beginning. If using the default “Presentations” category, you will also find a host of powerful filters that allows you to quickly narrow down your search to exactly the ones you want to find. Now you can even filter for messages that have videos! (One of the most requested features.)

3. Favorites

We all have experienced the situation where we see multiple messages that we want to listen to or watch, and we wished that there was a simple way for us to save them for later. With the new AudioVerse, now we do. By simply logging on with a free account, you will now be able to “Favorite” individual messages and even presenters to revisit later.

4. History

With a user account, you’ll also be able to access the full history of messages you’ve visited. You’ll never need to worry about forgetting what you wanted to listen to again. The best part is that there is even a quick download feature built right into the history page so you can quickly download the message with just one click.

5. Playlists

One of the most powerful features in this new website is the playlist. Not only is this an incredible tool for you to curate your own lists of messages, you can choose to keep it private or choose to share them publicly on the brand new Public Playlist section of AudioVerse. Ever wish that you could create a custom list of messages to share with specific people? Now you can!

6. Sharing

Listening to messages ourselves is just half the enjoyment, the better half is to share it with others. Now with the new AudioVerse, it is easier than ever to share. Here are just a few ways:

• Shortened URL. Each message as well as each playlist now comes with its own shortened URL link, making it much easier to share on various social media platforms.
• Share Your Collection. Now it’s possible not only to share individual messages, but you can custom create entire collections of messages to share with all of your friends. You can even make your playlist public for all AudioVerse users to discover.
• Embedded Player. Ever wish that you could embed an AudioVerse presentation directly into your blog, website, or social media page? Now you can with the embedded player capability. Simply visit the message you want to embed, click the “Share” tab, then copy and paste the embed code provided for you. It’s just that easy!

7. Keywords and Transcripts

Built into the new AudioVerse website is an automated keyword and transcription generating service. You will notice their respective tabs with each presentation and this new feature vastly improves our internal search capability but also now allows other search engines like Google to also search within the contents of all our messages as well. It will increase the visibility of the AudioVerse library even to those who aren’t on our site.

Because the transcriptions are auto-machine generated, their readability is quite low. So we are soliciting the help of any volunteers who would like to revise the transcriptions for the benefit of all who come after. Simply email us your quality transcription and we will replace it.
