Welcome to the Seed Pod for beginners. I Ms. Ashley, and I'm so glad you are here with me today as we sing and learn about God through nature and the Bible. Heavenly Father, please bless all the boys and girls who've joined us today. Help us to learn so much more about you and come close to Jesus. We pray in Jesus name, amen. Taking turns is something Jesus would do. Remember that the next time your brother, sister, or friend wants to take a turn, let's sing. I'll take turns. I'll take turns with my airplane. I'll take turns with you. I'll take turns with my tricycle. For Jesus wants me to all take turns when I'm all take turns with you. Take turns when I'm wants me to. I'll take turns with you. I'll take turns with my, for. Jesus wants me to. How should we treat others the way we wanna be treated? Of course, with kindness, we all like when others are kind to us. Let's sing a song from the Bible. Be yee kind For We are gonna play a guessing game. I'll give you hits. Then you guess what it is. Are you ready? I am a bird. I take turns flying in front so no one gets too tired. Leading. My babies are called goslings. I sound like this. Honk, honk, HOK. What am I? Iose. That's great. A goose. Next one. I am called man's best friend. I make a good pet. I can be walked on a leash. I help people who can't see or firefighters, policemen, and the elderly. What am I doggie? A dog. That's a fun one. Last one. I live in a really, really cold place on earth. I am a fast swimmer. I don't eat for over two months while I protect my baby and said it's ache from the cold. I am black and white and I walk with a waddle, waddle, waddle. Waddle. What am I? Penguin. A penguin. These three animals unselfishly help protect and serve others. It is God who puts love in their hearts and in our heart. Our story today is about unselfish Abraham. Let's pray. Dear Jesus, thank you for the Bible. Please help us learn to be unselfish like Abraham. In Jesus name, amen. Abraham lived a long time ago. He and his wife Sarah were very rich. That means they had lots of money and lots of things. They had many servants and many animals. Because Abraham and Sarah loved Jesus. He gave them a special job. He wanted them to be missionaries. I will go said Abraham that made Jesus happy. Are your parents happy when you obey and you're willing to go do something for them? Yes. Jesus wants me to move. Abraham told lot. Will you go with me? Yes. Uncle Abraham Lot said, I'll go with you. Abraham and everyone going with him got ready to move. They packed up their stuff. Then they started out on their trip. During the day, they traveled at night. They stopped asleep. Of course, after many days, they put up their big tents and rested. Then trouble started. There was not enough grass for all the animals to eat. The servants started a fight about that grass. Should we fight with each other? No. No. Maybe we should not live together. Abraham said, then our servants can find more grass. That's a good idea. Lot said together, they went to choose where to live. Abraham was very unselfish. That means he was thinking of other people more than he thought about himself. Even though lot was younger, he let lot choose first. Jesus was happy that Abraham was so kind. Jesus could do special things for Abraham because Abraham was so unselfish and so obedient. Jesus wants you to be kind to others That makes Jesus happy, and you will be happy too. Jesus wants us to love others like Abraham did. When we do, it makes us happy. Would you like to be unselfish? It's memory verse time. Today's memory verse is Genesis 12, verse two. I will bless you. It's a very short one, isn't it? Only four words. You can hold up one hand and then just put down one finger, and that's four. Okay? Let's say it again. I can point to yourself. I will bless you and use your finger to point to someone in the room. I will bless you. Genesis 12, two. I will bless you. Ah, bless you. Genesis 12, 12, 2, 2. Let's pray together. Fold your hands, close your eyes and repeat with me. Dear Jesus, still, Jesus, please help me. Please hold me. Choose to be kind. Two. Be kind and not selfish. And not selfish. Help me. B, help me. B, a missionary a Muslim, A for you, for you.
