And every time I'm here, I always share that I feel indebted to Wildwood and I'm also at OCI.

Without these 2 ministries, we and what I'm doing would not exist.

In fact, many other ministries would not exist.

So we just want to praise God for the wonderful work that Wildwood and OCI has done over these years.

And 1 of the highlights for me personally is the sermons, I mean the mission spotlights that we have from time to time at these conventions.

It's always a blessing to hear the various ministries.

And whether you believe that the work will be finished through education as Doug does or through business as Jesse does or medical missionary work as I do or canvassing as many others believe, I believe that's a good promise to have, amen?

And if every single person take their part that they believe is going to finish the work and do it faithfully, then the work will be finished.

So whichever 1 you believe, go for it and do it to the maximum And the work of God on this earth will be finished.

It's very fitting for what we'll share tonight.

Steve prayed, but I'm going to pray once again.

I'm going to invite you to kneel with me or bow your heads as far as possible and we'll jump right into the message.

Father we're grateful for the opportunity to share tonight Lord and we are asking once again for the Holy Spirit's presence to join us.

We know that we're living in serious and solemn times, Lord, and what we need is people that recognize that it's time and will say, I will go.

So may through this convention, this couple of days, Father, that we may truly be mission revived and that we may find ways to make our missions thrive so that we can in essence finish the work Lord.

We're grateful for your blessings in Jesus name.

I want to share a subject this evening entitled Married to the Work.

I remember about a year ago, a little over a year ago, Mr.

Steve was at our camp meeting at Red River Outpost and I was sharing with him and getting counsel from him some of the difficulties as it relates to ministry.

And I was looking for those words of encouragement and the positive things that he was going to share to turn all the negativity and the various things that I was sharing with him into something positive.

They looked me in the face and said, look, ministry is difficult.

You know, and as I've been talking with various individuals, in fact, right before I came I was talking to 1 of my close friends and my associate director Ramon, and we were just talking about the difficulties, but also the blessings in ministry.

And though ministry is in fact difficult and there's no way around it, I would have it no other way.

But when you read Ministry of Healing, it says when you look back, and if you knew the end from the beginning, you see that all these experiences that we're having are blessings.

You know, when I played basketball, I never liked running a seven-mile track that we had to run.

But I realized the things that I didn't like were necessary for winning.

There's some things in ministry that we might not like in the moment.

There's no tribulations that seems joyous in the moment.

And what God needs in these last days are people that are willing to be married to the work.

Now as I looked at your theme, this phrase stood out for me, it is time I will go.

And I began to think of Christ's ministry.

And as you look at Christ's ministry, you notice that Jesus was never taken by surprise.

In fact, if you notice this, my time is not yet come.

He says, Jesus knew that his hour was come.

He goes on to say, this day is the scripture fulfilled in your ear and then it goes on to say, it is, what's the next word, finished.

Now there's something about knowing the time that goes hand in hand with knowing what to do.

When you read 1st Chronicles chapter 12 verse 32 it says, and the children of Issachar were men that had understanding of the time to know what Israel ought to do.

There's something about knowing the time that goes right in hand with knowing what to do.

And Jesus, because he knew the time, what else did he know what to do?

Go with me in your Bible to the book of Mark, Mark 1.

And I want you to notice that Jesus now recognized the very time in which he was in.

In fact, when you look at Mark chapter 1 and verse 14, this is Jesus now recognizing that I am actually fulfilling the 490-day prophecy.

And I want you to notice what the Bible says in the book of Mark chapter 1 and pick it up in verse 14.

The Bible says, now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God and saying what is he saying read it with me the time is fulfilled and the kingdom of God is at hand repentee and believer the gospel did Jesus recognize the time yes what did he do read the next verse Verse 16.

When he recognized the time, it says, now as he walked by the Sea of Galilee, He saw Simon and Andrew his brother casting a net into the sea, for they were fishers.

And Jesus said unto them, come ye after me, and I will make you to become fishers of men.

And verse 18, and straightway they took their nets and followed him.

So the first thing that after he recognized this time he began to call others into the ministry.

And then in addition to that, he consecrated or trained them specifically for ministry.

I know that I'm living in urgent and imminent time, so what I need to do now is call others into ministry, and now I have to train others for ministry.

Am I making sense my brother and sisters?

Go to chapter 16 of the book of Mark and notice what the Bible says in verse 15.

And the Bible says and he said unto them go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature so number 1 after he recognized the time he called he consecrated and trained, and then third thing is, he commissioned.

He trained them and now he says, go into all the world.

Now if as God's people, we come to understand and recognize the time in which we live, we too should engage in active ministry, call others into ministry, train them for ministry, and then commission them for ministry.

So called, consecrated, and commissioned.

In John 20, verse 21, the Bible says, as my father has sent me, so send I you.

Go to Matthew 20 and verse 28 Matthew chapter 20 and verse 28 now remember John 20 verse 21 says as The father has sent me so send I you How were they sent?

Notice what the Bible says now in the book of Matthew chapter 20 and verse 28.

The Bible says, Even as the Son of Man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister and to give his life a ransom for how?

Jesus was sent on a self-sacrificing, dying-to-self mission and commission, and then he called the disciples into a similar self-sacrificing, dying to self-commission, and he says, as the Father has sent me, the message is also for us, so send I you.

It says there should be 100 believers actively engaged in personal missionary work where now there's but 1.

In other words, it is time we need to go.
