Evangelism and the Three Angels Message

Every time I speak Sunday morning, I have to tell myself, avoid saying happy Sabbath.

Happy to be here with you all once again.

And I'm going to be continuing along the theme of the 3 angels' messages in light of medical missionary work and evangelism.

So we're gonna just jump right in this morning.

And we're gonna study very deeply this morning, so I pray and trust that we all have our weapons in our hands.

If it loses power then it's not the Word of God.

We want the Word of God that never loses power.

We never have to plug this in and it doesn't die if it's not plugged in.

So we want to make sure we have our slaughter weapons in our hands.

Let us pray and ask God's presence to be with us.

Father in heaven, we're grateful for the opportunity to study your words once again.

And as we look at this most solemn and important subject, Father, evangelism and the 3 angels' messages, we know for sure that this is in fact the last message to a dying world, and that the work of God will not and cannot be finished unless the 3 angels' message is proclamated and demonstrated.

Thus it might be fulfilled, thrust in thy sickle and reap, for the harvest of the earth is ripe.

So as we recognize this Father, we pray that you help us number 1 to learn it, number 2 to practice it, number 3 to share it, so that we can bring in the second coming of Christ and end the trials and tribulations of this world.

So we commit and submit ourselves to you this morning.

Speak to me, speak through me, speak to your people.

And if I was to subtitle it, I would entitle it, Who Shall Be Able to Stand?

Now we're going to look briefly at some Bible prophecy.

And there's a reason why as God's people, especially as God's Seventh-day Adventist people, we need to be a people of prophecy.

We need to be like the children of Issachar, which are men that had understanding of the times To know what Israel ought to do.

That's first Chronicles chapter 12 in the verse 32 Now why study come in events?

We're told in the book Patriots and our prophecy Kings page 536 paragraph 3 All that prophecy has foretold as coming to pass until the present time has been traced on the pages of history.

And then it says, and we may be assured, we don't have to guess, we may be assured that all which is yet to come will be fulfilled." What's the next 3 words?

Well, it lends the question, do we know the order?

And the answer is we do not have to guess because in the book, Faith I Live By, a great controversy rather, page 598, it says, he has a chart pointing out every waymark of our heavenward journey and we ought not to guess at anything.

It says, the Bible is a chart showing us the waymark of truth.

So, note it mentions the events and its order.

So what I want to do briefly before we dive into the message this morning, over my study of Bible prophecy over the many years that I've been perusing through the Bible and studying these events and in its order, over 20 years Now, the Lord has helped me to come up with a chart with the events and the order.

Now, we're not gonna have time to study each 1.

I'm doing a series on Wednesday evening, so if you sign up for our YouTube channel on Red River Outpost, every Wednesday evening, we're doing a Bible prophecy seminars every Wednesday, and I'm going through every single 1 of these prophecies, the 3 angels' messages, the second coming of Christ, the latter rain, the loud cry, the sealing, the time of trouble, the little time of trouble, the 7 last flakes, and I'm going through them in this order.

So we're not gonna have time this morning to cover this in detail, but at least I want you to see a glance and an overview of the prophetic events and the order.

So now, what is a trigger point for the prophecies?

We're told that it will be the straight testimony that causes a shaking amongst God's people.

And as a result of the straight testimony, there will be a shaking.

And there's actually 3 phases of the shaking.

Does anyone know any of the 3 phases of the shaking?

And you can find that in volume 5, page 707.

And persecution enters into the last phase of the shaking.

Now, once the shaking has ended, you have the image of the beast that will begin to be enforced.

And as a result of the image of the beast, you have the National Sunday Law.

And the National Sunday Law test would lead to the judgment of the living.

And as a result of the National Assembly Law test, you have the seal of God versus the mark of the beast, specifically for God's people.

And as a result, you're entering into what's called the testing time.

The testing time leads to the little time of trouble, and that's when God's church is perfected.

And by the way, Ellen White says, all the preaching will not make the church militant, the church triumphant.

So the church does not become the church triumphant until there's persecution, until they're tested.

And that's when we'll have the church triumphant.

Now, then you have the close of probation, but in between the little time of trouble and the close of probation, you will have the latter rain, you have also the loud cry.

And the loud cry leads to either other sheep that are not of this fold that are coming in and then there'll be the general mark of the beast for everyone in the world.

Now when the probation closes you enter into what's called the great time of trouble and during a great time of trouble that's when you will have the 7 last plagues.

That's when you have Jacob's time of trouble.

That's when 144, 000 will be fully developed.

And then finally, Jesus comes the second time.

Now I want to point your attention to the little time of trouble and the great time of trouble.

In the great time of trouble, and this is where a lot of people are confused, in the great time of trouble, that's when the Bible tells us that our bread and our water is sure.

But what about on the little time of trouble?

In little time of trouble we are told again and again, the Lord has instructed that we are to take our families away from the cities into the country where we can raise our own provisions.

And then it goes on to say, for in the future, the problem of buying and selling will be a very serious 1, and we should now begin to heed the instruction given us over and over again.

So in the little time of trouble, that's when we must be raising our own provisions.

Now I want you to also note that the little time of trouble goes all the way to the close of probation, and at the close of probation, the law of cry ends, evangelism ends, everything ends.

So the point that I'm making is there comes a time where evangelism will be in vain.

Once probation closes, evangelism is in vain.

Because Jesus says, he that is unjust, let him be unjust still.

He that is righteous, let him be righteous still.

He that is filthy, let him be filthy still.

But also he that is holy, let him be holy still.

So the time for evangelizing is before probation closes.

Now you're gonna see why we mention this as we go through the presentation.

Now with that said, with the understanding of the time in which we're living, we're going to turn our Bibles to the book of Matthew chapter 24.

And I hope you have your thinking caps on this morning.

And we're going to ask God for wisdom and understanding of the messages that he has to share with us this morning.

Now, notice what Ellen White says specifically about Matthew chapter 24.

She says, ministers should present the sure word of prophecy as the foundation of the faith of Seventh-day Adventists.

You find that there's many ministers within the church now that's afraid to talk about prophecy.

And they think that, you know, let's just talk about Christ and righteousness by faith, which is a blessing.

They're connected, but we're also told that we are built upon prophecy.
