Father in heaven, Lord, we are discussing and studying some serious things from your word.

We ask and pray, Lord, for your Holy Spirit to continue to be in our midst and continue, Lord, to minister to our hearts.

You know, if we just kind of review what we've looked at we've talked about the latter rain and the latter rain falls at the same time that the the loud cry is given The loud cry is given until what time?

Until the end of probation, probation closes.

Now the 7 last plagues are also sometimes referred to as something else.

Jacob's time of trouble comes a little ways after that and what we're going to do now is just look at Revelation 16 and just go through some of these different things there.

You know, in Daniel chapter 12 and verse 1, the Bible tells us, at that time shall Michael stand up.

You know, we don't have time to study all this, but when Michael stands up, I believe that's a signification that probation has closed because when Jesus went to heaven he sat down he sat down and when he stands up probation is over the great prince with stand there for he for the people of the children of your people there shall be a time of trouble such as never since there was a nation, even to that time.

And at that time, your people shall be delivered.

Every 1 that shall be found written in the book.

3 texts, you have Jude, Jude, verse Jude, verse 9, where it says that Michael is the Archangel.

Then you have 1 Thessalonians 4.16 where it says that the voice of the Archangel will raise the dead.

Then you have John 5 verse 28 and 29 where it tells us that the Son of Man will raise people from the dead.

Put in all 3 texts together, Michael is Jesus who calls people from the dead.

And the Bible tells us there'll be a time of trouble such as never was since there was a nation.

Now the time of trouble is ahead and I believe as we study it what we see is that the time of trouble primarily, if you listen carefully, is for the world and not the church.

And I think too often times in our church we've got this 1 mixed up.

I mean maybe some of you as young children growing up in church you were told by your parents or by your pastor that the time of trouble such as never was since there was a nation you've got to be prepared to stand and your mother may have to kill you, you know, you know, I'm gonna have to say that I'm gonna serve God and kill my children and all these type of things and all these, you know, these terrible things.

Now, we believe some of those events will take place, but the time of trouble is for The world as opposed to the church.

Because we are told that once probation closes, there will be no more martyrs.

Because the only reason there is a martyr is for a purpose of winning someone else.

Once probation closes, loud cry is given.

Loud cry is given, but once probation closes and the plague start falling, there'll be no more of God's people that will perish.

What is a time of trouble for God's people?

But Some of us are there already, you say.

But the time of trouble that God's people go through, yes, God's people go through a time of trouble.

You have to put your faith completely in God.

But the time of trouble for the world is 10 times different because they have the 7 last plagues.

You know when I preach, I'm in my evangelism, I'd always ask, you know, people say, oh, you know, God's people are gonna go through tribulation.

Yeah, they're gonna go through, they can't buy and sell.

But the flip side of that is the 7 last plagues.

So you take your pick which time of trouble you want.

I would much rather not be able to buy and sell than I would be able to buy and sell and have the 7 last plagues.

But once the once probation closes and the time of trouble starts or the plague start falling, you know, this is when great controversy page 613 says, when the third angels message closes, mercy no longer pleased for the guilty inhabitants of the earth.

The loud cry is over, probation is closed, and salvation is no longer available.

Cases have been decided for or against, and people have made their minds up which way they are going.

Notice here, Ellen White says, the final test has been brought upon the world.

And all who have proved themselves loyal to the divine precepts have received the seal of the living God.

Then Jesus ceases his intercession in the sanctuary above.

He lifts his hands and with a loud cry says it is done.

And all the angelic hosts lay off their crowns as he makes a solemn announcement.

He that is unjust, let him be unjust still.

He that is filthy, let him be filthy still.

He that is righteous, let him be righteous still.

And he that is holy, let him be holy still.

Every case has been decided for life or death.

Christ has made the atonement for his people and blotted out their sin.

So as we see these different events that have taken place, the third angel's message has closed, the loud cry has terminated, mercy no longer pleads, the latter rain has been received, the seal has been fixed, 1 or the other, we didn't mention it really yet, but 1 of the purposes of the latter rain is to finally seal God's people.

Christ has ceased his intercession or ceases his intercession.

All these are true at the time probation closes and the time of trouble begins.

And this is when we read in Great Controversy page 614, at in that fearful time, the righteous must live in the sight of a holy God without an intercessor." Christ has finished his mediatorial work, he has left the most holy place of the sanctuary, he has laid aside his priestly garments and he has brought on his garments of vengeance while the plagues fall, before he takes on his kingly garments.

And at that time we're told that the righteous must live in the sight of a holy God without an intercessor.

After the close of propation, Christ leaves the sanctuary and his work as a high priest is over.

You may wonder, will we commit sin during that time?

GC page 613, sorry, I don't have this on the screen, but it says this, while our great high priest is making atonement for us, we should seek to become perfect in Christ.

You know Jesus, he said the prince of this world comes and he has what?

And that is I believe the experience that God's people will have.

GC 613, this is the condition in which those must be found who stand in the time of trouble.

Early writings, page 36, again reiterating this point says, then I saw that Jesus would not leave the most holy place until every case was decided, either for salvation or destruction, and that the wrath of God could not come until Jesus had finished His work in the most holy place.

The wrath of God we know from Revelation 15 verse 1, the wrath of God is the 7 last plagues.

These will not come until Jesus has finished his work in the most holy place.

We read here, then Jesus will step out from between Father and man.

The Father and God will keep silence no longer but pour out his wrath on those who have rejected his truth.

The nations are now getting angry, but when our High Priest has finished his work in the sanctuary, he will stand up, put on the garments of vengeance, and then the 7 last plagues will be poured out.

I saw that the 4 angels would hold the 4 winds until Jesus' work was done in the sanctuary, and then will come the 7 last plagues." So these 7 last plagues are going to pour and we're told they're going to pour out on the world.

Revelation 16 tells us they will pour out on those that have the mark of the beast.
