Isaiah 43 verse 12 You are my wit last part of the verse you are my witnesses That I am God Do we each have a testimony?

Is that how we overcome Revelation 12, 11?

So I want to share a few thoughts tonight.

Our dear Father in heaven, it's with joy I can express my gratitude in a public setting of all the things you've done for me.

By the way, before I start, Where's my wife?

That's Darlene, that's my wife right there.

Now, Proverbs 18, 22, he that findeth wife findeth what?

Proverbs 19, verse 14, a prudent wife is from the Lord you don't find her God finds her leaves you to her God has a plan and a purpose in a place for all of us here just what are we in a church tonight so this is my wife it was her birthday my wife, she just turned 70 years old.

She's moved, I don't know, 40, 50 cages down here, putting the cages on the tomatoes.

Tomatoes run up the cages but Darlene runs the cages down here.

Darlene, today our gym work is out in the hay field.

We've got a big hay ring here full of old hay.

Darlene's job this morning is to take it, put it in the truck, then we go home to the garden and we feed the plants.

My dear friends, here's my 7 year old wife.

I say thank the Lord for the best wife on planet Earth.

When I do this, you go ahead and respond, okay?

How many miles a gallon did she get with that plow?

Darling, I'm gonna tell you at breakfast.

He had some oatmeal and a mango and just that and the other.

Now she's 71 and works harder now than when she did long ago.

Deuteronomy 33, 25, as thy days, so shall thy strength be.

My dear friends as you get older it gets better don't you agree?

Ecclesiastes 9 verse 11 the race is not to the and the battles not to the you say I'm not as strong as I used to be.

Dear friends, it never depended on your strength, it's his strength, Zechariah 4, 6, not by might, not by power, not by your strength, but by his spirit, his mind that will get the job done for the gospel.

I don't know how she was, but she was young.

Went to high school and yeah that's Darlene in high school.

When she was in high school, Valley Head in a little place called Valley Head, Tennessee, she worked summer job and can you tell where that is?

1 summer in the glove mill, 1 summer in the sock mill, and she knew I got to get out of this kind of work.

And she thought the way to escape the Factory work is to go to where?

While she was there, she had a part-time job working with CDC, working her way through school.

The philosophy class had a class on Indian mysticism.

Carlos Castaneda books had opened the door for spiritualism.

And when I met my wife, she was up to her ears in spiritualism reincarnation Everything you can imagine I was a rank hard-cold atheist when I met her.

I was morally bankrupt and spiritually dead.

But Ephesians 2 verse 1, He's able to take those that are dead, right?

Ye which are dead and trespassed and sinned, hath He quickened.

Come on John 1 for in him was and the life was the light of me and then when that when that son of righteousness arises with healing in his wings Malachi 4 to that is he health of mind body and soul the mental the physical the spiritual the social and the emotional and the environmental he's a he's a one-size-fits-all Savior.

Her direction was she's majoring in psychology the science of the mind the direction was to go off to a graduate school and teach and in the library at Emory She walked by some handmade pottery.

If you're in place tonight, I'm gonna call it a church because we're talking about God if God's not in the house It's not a church and if you're not in us, we ain't as people But God By the way, you know people say well God did not bring you and that woman together.

I don't know about that, but I know this.

When Darlene and I shacked up together, we lived together, God did everything in His power which is infinite to bring us into harmony with him and give me a happy home with stability, peace, safety and security.

So God called her to put her hand in the dirt.

She started making the pottery, the hands in the dirt.

And when I met her, she was working as an apprentice at Cal and Wall Fire and Arts Center doing handmade pottery.

And she decided she would quit CDC she wanted a job somebody that she knew said look the paper office you can get a paper out I'm giving mine up you can make a lot of money work a little bit of time and just deliver papers and that's what she had she like a paper out so she was a new age spiritualist by the way she was a Buddhist when I met her she doesn't like me to say this but honey I gotta say at 1 time she's taking a lesson in belly dancing and a spiritualist and a Buddhist and she was interesting I never met anybody like that.

Anyway that's me And that's 1 of my girlfriends in high school.

And when I got out, when I went in, I would say corrupt.

When I got out, I was absolutely corrupted.

That's Atlanta back when I entered it and I thought there is opportunity in this place for me and I had a friend he got me a job He was a manager for the Atlanta newspapers, got me a job there, was working in middle management.

I was sent to a place called Toco Hills and that's where I met that woman and she rode a motorcycle.

And when I met her, I think she was wearing a bathing suit and she rode that motorcycle.

Now I give that as a way of introduction because some of these pictures include that lady that I've been married to for 45 years.

The combat boots and all the, that's Darlene.
