The In Of The In And Out

But I'd really like to get into the message right away this morning.

Father in heaven, we thank you so much for a beautiful Sabbath.

Please be with us as we study this morning.

Help us to understand We need your Holy Spirit Lord.

We acknowledge I acknowledge my complete dependence on you.

We need your help to understand the Bible So please and help us to be able to apply it to our lives in the name of Jesus.

You're welcome to turn in your Bibles and follow along this morning.

However, we will be moving quite quickly through the material.

He has given you the former rain faithfully and he will cause the rain to come down for you, the former rain and the latter rain in the first month.

Joel chapter 2, Now the prototype for this latter reign is the early reign.

Now the sequel, Pentecost 2, will arrive with no less power than the early rain.

And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out my spirit on all flesh your sons and daughters shall prophesy your old men shall dream dreams your young men shall see visions and also on my men servants and on my maidservants I will pour out my spirit in those days We know from Acts chapter 2 that it was powerful.

Then those, this is Acts 2 verse 41, and those who gladly received his word were baptized, and that day about 3, 000 souls were added to them.

And this verse summarizes the immediate effect of the first dose of the Holy Spirit's power on God's people.

In Acts chapter 4, a few verses later, Many of those who heard the word believed and the number of men came to be about 5, 000.

So this is empowered then by the first dose of the Holy Spirit.

But empowered by the second dose of the Holy Spirit or the latter rain, God's people will enter a time period of extremely successful missionary effort.

And that's what I want to talk to you about this morning.

Do you ever feel frustrated because you witness to your friends and then nothing happens?

Now, I'm going to share a lot of quotes this morning, which is not usually what I like to do.

But for our purposes this morning, and for our study this morning, I'm going to, and I've made the references as simple as possible, a lot of the references are quoted in the book Last Day Events.

Thousands in the eleventh hour will see and acknowledge the truth.

These conversions to the truth will be made with a rapidity that will Surprise the church and God's name alone will be glorified.

I mean if we're talking about Rwanda or something, maybe that's not shocking.

Last day events 212, the time is coming when there will be as many converted in a day as there were on the day of Pentecost after the disciples had received the Holy Spirit.

Of course, right before that, we know that there's going to be something called the shaking.

Most of us are familiar with that concept.

Hebrews 12 talks about it, yet once more I will shake not only the earth but also heaven.

Now this yet once more indicates the removal of those things that are being shaken as of things that are made, but that the things which cannot be shaken may remain." So most of us are familiar with the concept of the shaking.

We know that many who label themselves believers in Christ will be shaken out.

This statement from Ellen White is from 1893.

It is a solemn statement that I make to the church that not 1 in 20 whose names are registered upon the church books are prepared to close their earthly history.

However, in addition to the massive outflow, there's also going to be a huge influx of people coming in to God's movement.

This is also from early writings, but last day of Ants 182.

Standard after standard, that's an old word for a flag for those of you who don't know.

Flag after flag, standard after standard was left to trail in the dust as company after company from the Lord's army joined the foe and tribe after tribe from the ranks of the enemy united with the command keeping people of God.

So here we have this out and then this in Or the in and out.

And this morning we're going to especially focus on the in of the in and out.

Some had been shaken out and left by the way, the careless and indifferent who did not join with those who prized victory and salvation enough to perseveringly plead and agonize for it did not obtain it and they were left behind in darkness and their places were immediately filled by others taking hold of the truth and coming into the ranks." That's really encouraging, isn't it?

The broken ranks will be filled up by those represented by Christ as coming in at the eleventh hour.

There are many with whom the Spirit of God is striving.

His hand is still stretched out to save while the door is closed to those who would not or don't want to enter.

Large numbers, large numbers will be admitted who in these last days hear the truth for the first time.

So evidently then, in addition to the massive out, there's going to be a corresponding influx of people Who come in and join God's commandment keeping people it's kind of like the shaking only in reverse I have with me The game of boggle how many people play get boggle.

You've ever played boggle raise your hand.

Okay There are little cubes here and you're supposed to shake it up.

And something that was in its place got shaken out.

But also there's a shaking in that happens, right?

You put just to put the cubes, they're just to fall into little places and then you don't have to go like that, right?

That great shaking is gonna shake stuff into its place too.

What will the in of the in and out look like?

In the visions of the night, representations passed before me of a great reformatory movement among God's people.

The sick were healed and other miracles will rot a spirit of intercession was seen.

Oh, don't you love operation global rain a Spirit of intercession was seen even as was manifest manifested before the great day of Pentecost hundreds and thousands were seen Visiting families and opening before them the Word of God.

You know, when I was, oh, I was 20-something, I was sitting in the back seat of my father's car, And there was a big bookcase that we were transporting.

And I was sitting there kind of scrunched between the door and this bookcase.

And I couldn't really put on my seatbelt because the bookcase covered up the seatbelt.

As we were crossing a highway, somehow, I've never seen the car to this day, a car hit right on the side of our car, right where I was sitting.

And our car did not flip over, it went sideways like this, skidded.

And I wound up with a broken tibia, my large leg bone, broken into the joint.

Anyway, within seconds, I didn't know what was happening, within seconds I had a guy's hand on the back of my neck going like this.

It was evidently an off-duty EMT that was across the street he had seen it happen.

And so they put me on a backboard and had to break window and get me out and all this other stuff.
