It’s no secret that technology has completely changed the way that we interact with media. At AudioVerse, we’ve seen up close how more and more people all around the world are accessing Bible media on the go through their mobile devices.

A listener from Denmark recently wrote us saying:

I want to thank you for this website which has been an inspiration for my life. It is so nice to be able to listen to inspired sermons any time that is convenient for me. I listen much at home, in my office and while driving. May God richly bless your ministry.

And he’s not alone. On a regular basis people tell me how they simply can’t live without their AudioVerse app on their smartphones.

iOS App Update

If you’re one of those people, you won’t want to miss our recently released new version of the iOS AudioVerse app. Here are just a few of the new features that we know you will love:

• Save My Spot – The app will now remember exactly where you’ve listened to in a recording and ask you if you’d like to continue where you left off the next time you open the app.
• Save for Later – On each message listing, you can save the recording to a list for easy retrieval later.
• History – There’s also a history list so you can quickly review what you’ve browsed.
• Audiobook Autoplay – It only worked for the audio Bibles before, but now all audiobooks will automatically play from one chapter to the next.
• Improved Media Player – We completely redesigned the media player to make it more usable.
• Squashed Bugs – There were a number of other bugs that were cleaned up in this release.

We are hard at work to incorporate all of these improvements to our Android app as well. You can look for that soon in the Google Play Store. But you can download the latest version of the iOS app in the Apple App Store today.

There are a lot more features under development that are on our drawing board as well, so know that we will continue to invest in our mobile platforms for the future. However, to ensure that we stay on top of changing technology and to realize our many other ideas, we need more help!
