Willing and Able

Dear Father, I'm so grateful to you, dear Father, for the high honor of seeking you.

Grant me your spirit, dear God, the spirit of truth, the spirit of life, and the spirit of grace.

And so let the divine spirit possess my faculties so that my voice becomes your voice.

Tell me what to say, when to say it, how to say it.

Help me to speak boldly but with compassion, for I too need grace.

Father, pour out a special blessing on our guests who are with us.

Put a double blessing on the children, dear God, and a special blessing also on the students.

I pray also for all those worshipping you around South Africa and other parts of the world.

Speak through every preacher, I pray to God.

Bless South Africa in a very special way And all other countries represented by those watching online, bless them God, and remind the leaders that the Most High ruleth in the kingdoms of men.

Help us to believe that so we do not lose our minds.

I'll be asking you that throughout the sermon.

I will read from the King James Version of the Bible.

If you have a different version, read quietly.

When he was come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed him.

And behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean.

And Jesus put forth his hand and touched him saying, I will be thou clean.

And immediately, finish the verse, his leprosy was cleansed.

Let's look at that verse now microscopically.

When he was come down from the mountain, after delivering the sermon on the mount, great multitudes followed him.

And behold, there came a leper, and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if Thou be, if Thou be, Thou, look at the verse, if Thou be, Thou can't.

Now We have willingness and we have ability.

God is always able but not always willing.

Remember the cry of Jesus Christ, Luke 22 from verse 41, and he was withdrawn from them about a stone's cast and kneeled down and prayed saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me.

But the father was not willing to do that was he able yes was he willing no you may ask god for money is he able to provide it is he always willing no because he knows best what you ought to ask for.

The leper said, Lord, if thou wilt, Thou canst make me clean.

And Jesus put forth his hand and touched him, saying, what?

Now, in the Bible, leprosy was a physical ailment, still is.

If Jesus was willing to heal physical leprosy, willing and able, is he willing and able to heal spiritual leprosy?

Whether you're addicted to pornography, lying, adultery, cheating on your taxes, what's the thing we tested, governments do, what's that word, corruption, bribery, stealing the tithe, working on Sabbath?

Yes, because He's always willing to deliver us from sin.

Always willing and has the ability, which means no 1 should settle for his or her spiritually negative condition.

We cannot say, that's the way I am, I'll never change.

That is a negative reflection on the power of God.

The speciality of Jesus Christ is redeeming human beings from sin.

He's willing, that's why he came, And he's able.

Stay in Matthew, let's go to chapter 9, we'll read from verse 27.

And when Jesus departed thence, 2 blind men followed Him, crying and saying, What?

Thou Son of David, come on, have mercy on us.' And when he was come into the house, the blind man came to him, and Jesus said unto them, what?

Believe ye that I am able to do this, not believe ye that I am going to do this.

Do you believe I can whether I do it or not?

Do you believe Romans 1 16, I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is what?

And so Jesus said, believe ye that I am able to do this.

According to your faith, finish the verse, be it unto you.

Then touch ye their eyes saying according to your faith, be it unto you." As I was telling my friends where I'm staying, if you bring to God a thimble, ladies, you know a thimble, and some men do.
